In spring of 2018, the Research Center for Global Economic Systems (GLECS) was newly established under the HIAS in addition to the two existing research centers: the Research Center for Health Policy and Economics, and the Management Innovation Research Center.
The GLECS will take over the four interdisciplinary research groups which the HIAS has been focusing on aiming at “Redesigning the Global Economic System Sustainable Development for Japan and the World” since its establishment of 2015.
