The 20th HIAS Brown Bag Seminar
The HIAS Brown Bag Seminar is a new seminar series hosted by Hitotsubashi Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS).
The seminar series aims to promote interaction between HIAS researchers, faculty members, and students university-wide.
HIAS, with its 10 research centers, will continue to strive to function as a hub to facilitate active research collaboration throughout the University.

▪️Speaker: “D.S. Prasada RAO, FASSA (Specially Appointed Professor, HIAS)
▪️Abstract: Using evidence from ICP, PWT, and UQICD, this talk provides a quantitative assessment of five decades of economic performance of Asian economies, highlighting contributions to global growth, reduced inequality and poverty, and the implications of productivity and demographic shifts for the world economy.
